Circumstances of the injury

August 9, 2025, while performing his duties on the Donetsk front, he was injured while inside a dugout.

The strike was sudden, in what is usually considered a relatively protected shelter. Even there, however, the injury turned out to be serious.

The trauma affected the shoulder joint and impacted his ability to fully move his arm.

Medical diagnosis

Closed fracture of the glenoid cavity of the right scapula with fragment displacement — this means that the part of the shoulder blade forming the shoulder joint is broken, and the bone fragments have shifted out of place.

In simple terms: the damaged part of the joint can no longer maintain its proper shape, making arm movement painful and limited.
