Campaign details
Injury Circumstances:
On April 24, 2024, Yevhen and his team held their position for more than a day, repelling an intense enemy assault. During the battle, several comrades were wounded and could not be left behind. Risking his own life, Yevhen and his teammates began evacuating the injured, who urgently needed medical help. For over 600 meters, they carried the wounded under heavy enemy fire.
While evacuating, the enemy launched mortars and artillery strikes. Shrapnel struck Yevhen’s arm, but he remained conscious. Applying a tourniquet to stop the bleeding, Yevhen continued moving toward the evacuation line, enduring relentless shelling and risking his life to save others.

- Ensures proper healing and functional recovery of the forearm.
- Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) of the humerus using a plate:
- A surgical procedure to stabilize the humerus fracture.
- Metal plates and screws are used to hold bone fragments securely in place.
- Promotes stability, proper alignment, and functional recovery of the shoulder and arm.
