August 15, 2025 — during the execution of a combat order, in the course of an assault on enemy positions, the group was hit by two drone-dropped munitions.

As a result of these strikes, the serviceman sustained shrapnel injuries to the shoulder, left leg, and lower back.

Despite the injuries, he was successfully evacuated and transferred to medical personnel for assistance.

The main injury is a gunshot fracture of the upper third of the left humerus.

Such fractures are complex because they affect the structural integrity of the bone responsible for arm movement and strength.

Doctors have determined the necessary stage of treatment:

osteosynthesis of the humerus using metal fixation.

This means:

• the bone fragments will be aligned in the correct position;
• fixed with metal plates and screws;
• this will allow the bone to heal in a stable and correct way.

This is a key stage — without it, restoration of arm function is not possible.
