Circumstances of the Injury:

While carrying out my military duties during a combat mission, I was injured. At first, the pain was tolerable, but over time it grew stronger and harder to bear.

This experience became a true test for me — one that changed the way I see life. Living through the injury and the pain made me value every moment more deeply and understand the real price of life.

Diagnosis:

A closed injury to the medial meniscus and early-stage osteoarthritis of the right knee joint.

The medial meniscus — a piece of cartilage inside the knee that acts like a shock absorber between the bones — was damaged. “Closed” means there was no open wound or bleeding outside the knee.

In addition, he developed stage I osteoarthritis, which is the earliest form of arthritis. This means the cartilage in the knee is beginning to wear down, causing pain, stiffness, and discomfort during movement.

Clinical Decision:

Arthroscopy of the knee joint with removal of the damaged part of the meniscus.

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgery where a few small incisions are made in the knee. Through these openings, the surgeon inserts a tiny camera and special instruments, allowing them to see inside the joint and operate without a large cut.

During the procedure, the torn or damaged portion of the meniscus (the cartilage that cushions the knee) is carefully removed, while the healthy tissue is left intact. This helps the knee move more smoothly, reduces pain, and prevents the joint from getting “stuck.”
